Nazareth Academy Senior Cassandra Marquez Receives Chick Evans Scholarship

LA GRANGE PARK, December 14, 2015, Nazareth Academy is pleased to announce that Cassandra Marquez, a senior from Berwyn, has earned the Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship.

The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for golf caddies that is renewable for up to four years. Recipients must display a strong caddie record, excellent grades and outstanding character.

Cassie plans to use the scholarship to attend college of the University of Colorado in Boulder.

“One of my goals with college was to go someplace completely new. The Chick Evans Scholarship will allow me to fulfill that dream and gives my mom such peace of mind, knowing it’s all paid for,” says Cassie, who admits that both she and her mom cried when they got the news.
