The Village of Summit will celebrate its 125th Anniversary at a day-long community festival at Summit Park on Sunday August 2

The Village of Summit is hosting their 125th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, August 2nd at Summit Park, 5700 S Archer Rd. from 11 am to 10 pm. The entire community is invited to participate in a fun-filled family friendly day. The day-long celebration will feature live music and entertainment, sporting competitions, activities for children. 

All activities including the Splash Pad are free for the children. It will be a great time to meet new residents as well as get caught up with old friends. Other children’s activities include bouncing houses, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, access to the Splash Pad and more. 

There will be a free health clinic and finger printing and ID’s for children. There will be a variety of musical entrainment, a beer garden, food trucks and local restaurants. A historical walk of photos and artifacts from Summit’s past will be on display at the SPARKS center.
