CICERO/BERWYN, Ill., March 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — The Superintendents of two West Suburban high schools have agreed to wear the mascot uniforms of their opposing schools if their school’s team loses in the Sectional Championship Game scheduled for tonight.

The wager was made Friday (March 13, 2015) between Morton High School District 201 Superintendent Michael Kuzniewski and Riverside Brookfield High School District 208 Superintendent Kevin Skinkis.

If Morton loses, Kuzniewski will wear the mascot uniform for one day of the Riverside Brookfield School District 208, the Bulldog. If Riverside Brookfield loses, Skinkis will wear the mascot uniform for one day of the Mustangs.

“I don’t think a superintendent of a local high school has had to wear the mascot uniform of an opposing team,” said Morton’s Kuzniewski. “I don’t look forward to it, but only because I know that both Mr. Skinkis and I each have faith that our high school basketball teams are the best.”

Morton Board President Jeffry Pesek added, “It’s really gotten our student body revved up about the rivalry and competition and has electrified the enthusiasm for the schools’ basketball championship competitions.”

The announcement of when the losing superintendent will wear the mascot uniform will be announced following the game.

Please make sure to follow Morton’s and Riverside-Brookfield’s social media to see the final score and learn which superintendent will dress in their rival’s mascot uniform for a day.
